Fear and loathing....let's party!

So I realized this morning that in three short weeks I will be in Sin City. Not the best place for a guy who has been partying way too much to go, but I am suddenly really excited. I can't wait to see the place. I'm inviting anyone who has been there to let me know where to go. Good restaurants, good shows, places to drink, places to dance and places to meet people. Please share. I think I am going to forgo a trip to the Bunny Ranch, though I think it's cool that the have a menu. "Hmmmm, I think I will be having a threesome and a handjob onn the side please." That is hillarious. It would be great if they had a Value meal menu also. "I'll have a number 3 with some coke...I mean A coke" hehe.

I think I am going to forgo the E and the Absinthe on this trip and just party down old school style.........Mushrooms and Acid! hahaha. Actually I just want to have a good time, turn on the charm and laugh. They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. We'll see. Can't wait. I'm not much of a gambler (except with my body) but I do love to dance and drink and party down.

I was going to go to the beach this weekend, but some bad weather has hit the Raleigh area. Scattered thunderstroms does not make for a good beach trip. I knew this last night and I used up the other thing that I wanted to do this weekend...See Batman Begins. This was a seriously cool movie. One of the best superhero flicks of all time. Really good folks. I think I may be getting old though. Batman, of course, tries to save Gotham from the clutches of Scarecrow and Ra's Al Ghul. In the course of one chase scene, he is in the Batmobile and starts shooting missles at buildings, driving over rooftops, and generally destroying everything in his path in an effort to escape from his persuers. The whole time I found myself thinking "Man, he is really going to drive up the insurance premiums in that town" and "He's causing so much damage!" hahaha. After that though, I fell into that blissful testosteronish place that I know so well. "Ahhhhh.....splosions!" Good movie. Highly recomended.

Well, I guess I am going to clean my apartment today and maybe paint a little. A freind of mine wants to come by later. I should at least have the house looking respectable.

See Y'all later

Oh man. Good old Sin City. I've been three times in less than eight months. You know what sucks? I haven't seen entertainment. But if it's clubs you're looking for, I got some 411.

Club Rain at The Palms is pretty awesome. Maybe it's 'cause I was drunk beyond recognition and anywhere would have been awesome. I love to dance and I'm picky about dance floors. I wasn't really feeling theirs. It was too small. My friends and I ended up dancing around the dance floor instead of on it. We went on a Saturday night and it was insane packed. But find the important looking people and pay the front-of-line cover. It was only $20 bucks and we got escorted right to the door.

We also went to Rum Jungle at Mandalay Bay. Now there's a nice looking club. Probably the best I've seen. They have a little river of water going around the entrance. They have a great dance floor which isn't your average square and/or round type. They have girls with super hot bodies dancing up in the air in cages. They have random entertainment such as girls hanging from sheet looking material and dacing with and around it and a couple of other cool things. Fun to watch when you're too dizzy to dance. They have a nice area to sit at too. Oh, and in the girls bathroom, there's stars on the ceiling. So, since we're squaters, it was a nice view.

This last time we went to Studio 54 at MGM. Big round dance floor and naked chicks getting leopard spots painted on them by other chicks. I don't like it there because we paid $100 for a VIP table in which they make you buy to bottles (according to how many people you're with) off their menu. We (my cousin, I paid for the table) paid $375 for a $90 dollar bottle of Patron Silver and $210 for some weak tasting champaigne. Then the big burly meathead bouncer kicked my cousin out. Maybe my cousin asked for it, but why the fuck was he being a prick to me? Blah.

My girlfriends went to club Ice and didn't stop talking about it. I guess it's one of those multi-clubs in one kinda deals.

Anyhow, there are insane amounts of clubs, which we all know. My best advice would be to get online before you go and plan them ahead, for the cost factor. Some nights there are inane cover charges, which I personally won't pay.

Also, buy beer OFF the strip(!) and get totally drunk before you get to the club. That way you don't spend $8 bucks on a fucking beer.

Be sure to enjoy drinking any and everywhere. You should have a beer or drink in your hands at all times. When you're walking to and from clubs and hotels, etc. If you see a cop, just smile and keep walking. It's too awesome to feel as though you're doing something illegal.

As for food, I think Vegas has some pretty sorry restaurants. I stuck to the lame fast food type stuff. There is however a restaurant called, La Salsa Cantina, that's right on the strip. I don't know if you like Mexican food, but I come from the land of chili and Mexican food. I've yet to eat Mexican food restaurants in foreign states that I like, but I was really happy with this place. Their chili was even real!!! That never happens. Oh and for a damn good burger, try Fatburger. Also on the strip.

Oh yeah! I also enjoyed all the free bars inside the hotels. They always have some sort of entertainment going on. Dancers, bands, crazy bartenders, etc.

For a really good old school band, check out the Big Apple inside of New York, NY. Oh, not to mention the fiesty bitches at Coyote Ugly. They give free alcohol to loud guys and sluty girls.

Well, I think I'm done now. But yeah, go Google your little heart out!

Rereading my comment, we went to Club Rain on a Thursday night, not a Saturday.

Well I'll just add two baby cents in since Jenn covered pretty much everything, but I'll add that I've been to rumjungle before and it was pretty cool and I had a great time (from what I remember of it :) Also, it looks like the Ghost Bar at The Palms is pretty cool..Pretty much any hotel you go into will have some type of club/bar so even if you fly by the seat of your pants, you'll find something to get into. Vegas is the freakin' bomb!! I sadly have not been to any shows when I've gone in the past except for one time I went to an "Afternoon Revue" at the Flamingo which was just a topless show in the afternoon- kinda entertaining and dirt cheap, actually I think it was free. There is nothing like Vegas, you'll just get this awesome feeling when you are walking down the strip- there's just a great energy about the place. Plus, all of the guys will be holding stacks of nudie bar/club flyers in their hands and smack it against their hands real loud and then pass it out to you every five seconds. You are going to LOVE it there....whatever hotel you stay at will probably have a gorgeous pool out back that is so relaxing and inviting...mmmmm I'm so jealous!! Have an awesome time! Say hi to the Bellagio for me!! :)

Well, damn. Topless joints and hot dance clubs sounds like a fantastic time. How can I say no to this. I am going to stay up for days and look like I got punched in the face by life when I get back.
